embroidery owls (for kids)

I was recently making some hair clips that required some embroidery. My daughter was totally interested in the whole needle/stitching process. I was reminded of these cute embroidery owls that I had seen awhile back. What a great little project for kids (with adult supervision), we immediately headed to the craft store to get the supplies and I had one happy girl on my hands. Here are all the details at 5 Orange Potatoes.

baby socks

The company Trumpette has the cutest baby socks EVER!! They are behind the cute and popular mary-jane socks that make babies look like they are wearing shoes, but they are really socks! I was visiting my friend Melissa last Friday and she showed me the newest additions to their sock line on the website! Oh My Goodness....they were so cute! (click picture to enlarge)

We both agreed that her baby Felix needs to have the Skater Johnnys!! Darling! Check out the website here to see these and all their other products! Beware....you may die from cuteness overload!!

friendship bracelets

Have you noticed that friendship bracelets are back. I have seen them in a lot of the cute little boutiques. These are the best because you can make them with your kids and both of you can enjoy the finished product. Here is an easy tutorial from makingfriends.com.
